Vietnam's Mekong Delta generates 8 million tons of rice husk annually. Rice husk pellets are produced by extruding rice husk under high pressure in standard pellet mills. The husk is efficiently converted into a consistent biomass product readily available in large volumes at a low cost. FarmtoFuel has contracted and certified exclusively with rice pelletizing plants with current annual volumes up to 300,000 tons rice husk pellets directly available.
